CLODIHUGE affects mitochondria, the body's power plant, and interferes with respiration. The insect's battery is terminated by CLODIHUGE! (Insect Mitochondria produce chemical energy for cell operations by converting ADP to ATP.) In order to stop the synthesis of ATP, CLODIHUGE becomes stuck between the inner and outer membranes of mitochondria. Consequently, cells stop working, and the insect perishes due to its inability to generate its own energy.
