Mode Of Action

Thiocyclam Hydrogen Oxalate – Nereistoxin analogue: Inside the insect, it converts to nereistoxin. Binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) in the nervous system, blocking nerve signal transmission which causes loss of coordination, paralysis, and death.
Clothianidin – Neonicotinoid insecticide: Directly binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect’s central nervous system. Causes continuous nerve stimulation, over-excitation of neurons, followed by paralysis and death.
