Manzapyr Strong (Imazethapyr 70% WG) is a selective, broad-spectrum herbicide that provides effective weed control with both contact and residual activity.
Manzapyr Strong (Imazethapyr 70% WG) acts as an ALS (Acetolactate Synthase) inhibitor from the imidazolinone group, blocking the synthesis of essential branched-chain amino acids (valine, leucine, and isoleucine) in weeds. It is absorbed through both leaves and roots and translocated systemically within the plant, leading to inhibition of protein synthesis, stoppage of cell division and growth, and ultimately gradual death of the weeds, with visible symptoms appearing within a few days after application.
