Mode of Action

Imidhuge is a systemic insecticide that translocate rapidly through plant tissues following application. Imidacloprid acts on several types of post-synaptic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the nervous system. In insects, these receptors are located only within the central nervous system.

  • Imidhuge belongs to Neonicotinoid (ANI) group of insecticide.
  • Imidhuge is recommended on wide variety of crops and insects as per the details given in table.
  • Imidhuge is highly systemic insecticide quickly absorbed by plants with good xylem mobility.
  • Imidhuge is used at lower dosage, hence safer to environment.
  • Imidhuge can be applied at any crop stage but the leaves should be green and succulent for better efficacy.
