Picoxystrobin: A strobilurin fungicide that inhibits mitochondrial respiration (QoI inhibitor) in fungi, disrupting energy production. It provides protective, curative, and eradicant activity with translaminar and systemic movement.
Tricyclazole: A systemic fungicide that inhibits melanin biosynthesis in fungi. This prevents the pathogen from forming appressoria, which are essential for host penetration.
The combination offers a dual mode of action, enhancing efficacy and helping manage resistance.
