Clodinafop Propargyl 15% WP is an herbicide that inhibits the enzyme acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase (ACCase), crucial for fatty acid synthesis in grassy weeds. This mode of action specifically targets grass weeds while being safe for most broadleaf crops. When applied post-emergence, Clodinafop-Propargyl is absorbed by the leaves of the grass weeds and translocated throughout their tissues.
