Agrikind Demon is a systemic and contact organophosphate insecticide and acaricide widely used to control a variety of sucking and chewing insect pests and mites in various crops.
As an organophosphate, Dimethoate acts as a cholinesterase inhibitor in insects, disrupting nerve impulse transmission, leading to paralysis and death. It exhibits both contact action (killing pests upon direct contact) and systemic action (absorbed by the plant and translocated throughout, killing pests that feed on the treated plant parts).
