Mode of Action

Agrikind Progil is a systemic herbicide that is rapidly absorbed through the leaves and roots of treated weeds. It works by inhibiting the acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase) enzyme, which plays a key role in fatty acid synthesis required for cell membrane formation, ultimately leading to the death of the weed.

  • Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the required quantity of the herbicide and first mix it with a small amount of water.
  • Then add the remaining water as per recommendation.
  • Crop Stage for Application: Apply when weeds are at the 2–4 leaf stage.
  • Equipment: Knapsack sprayer or power sprayer.
